The Samsung Galaxy Note9 is now official after the grand launching event happening in New York. Here are the 3 things that you will need to know about the new Galaxy Note9.

We love the Samsung Galaxy Note8, even our media friends are loving the Note8 for its exceptional performance and camera capabilities. The new Galaxy Note9 will feature a 4000mAh battery that is 33% more than the previous generation. Pairing it with the power efficient Samsung Exynos 9810 10nm SoC, this phone will be a powerhouse for those who work & play on-the-go.

More Storage

As we install more games and download more entertainment contents, many of us would face the issue where the phone storage is constantly in the red zone.

Fret not as the Galaxy Note9 will come in two storage options – 128GB and a whopping 512GB. Seriously, that is even more than my desktop’s SSD capacity. Topping off the chart is the phone actually supports microSD card up to 512GB. That is a total of 1TB of storage right in your pocket.

Higher Performance

We have mentioned the phone will feature the Exynos 9810 chipset. We have seen how it perform in the Samsung Galaxy S9/S9+. Fabricated with 10nm technology, the octa-core chipset is speedy while consuming less energy. Samsung even has a new cooling system – Water Carbon Cooling, to make sure the chipset’s temperature in check.

S Pen

The key feature of the Galaxy Note line is no other than the S Pen and now it comes with Bluetooth Low Energy built-in. What it means is that you can now use the S Pen as a Bluetooth remote control.

You don’t need any special charger to charge the S Pen, just slot it into the phone and 40 seconds of charging can last for 30 minutes.

The Galaxy Note9 will be available for pre-order starting today, 10th August until 19th August 2018. Malaysia official availability date will be on 24th August 2018. Three colours will be available – Midnight Black with the black S Pen, Metallic Copper with the matching copper-coloured S Pen, and Ocean Blue with the yellow S Pen.
