ADATA’s DDR5 RAM modules for Intel’s 12th Gen Alder Lake CPU is slated for end of October release in Malaysia

ADATA has officially announced that they will be one of the early brands offering DDR5 RAM kits for Intel’s upcoming 12th Gen Alder Lake CPU and platform.

For a quick recap, the ADATA DDR5-4800 U-DIMM modules are made according to the strict specifications of DDR5 by the industry in which they contain Power Management Integrated Circuit (PMIC) that accurately manages power consumption rate that practically enables higher frequency numbers while consuming less power while the Error Correction Code feature that is previously found in server-grade hardware is also now present to help systems deter against the internal and external disruption that may cause bits to flip which can be impactful in certain use cases. At launch, ADATA will be offering densities starting from 8GB to 32GB for both single sticks and dual kits.

On the other hand, the gaming and overclocking scene will see ADATA’s XPG branding come into play with the upcoming LANCER and LANCER RGB DDR5 RAM kits that promises performance and reliability in pushing the memory to the limit either by utilizing Intel XMP 3.0 for up 5200MHz on latencies of CL38 or even further through manual but expertly configured figures. Aside from the known standards such as PMIC for direct power regulation and ECC support to help next-gen rigs to be more stable across the board, enjoy these slick RAM kits and its lighting with the RGB edition controllable through major motherboard manufacturer’s software where ADATA has been partnering with and tested that includes the names of AORUS, ASROCK, ASUS, ASUS ROG, GIGABYTE, and MSI.

Pricing and Availability

For now, the standard ADATA DDR5-4800 is expected to arrive in Malaysia at the price of RM620 for 16GB of capacities (Whether it is 2x8GB or 1x16GB is unconfirmed) while the XPG LANCER DDR5 will be made available starting next month. Both RAM offerings will be distributed by M-Link System and the familiar face Sun Cycle.
