ASUS launches new VivoBook S14 and VivoBook S15 laptops
A few months ago, ASUS launched the VivoBook A series of laptops. Those laptops are very colorful, and honestly – the Coral Crush is still my favorite color to date. Today, ASUS is releasing the new VivoBook S14 and S15 laptops. Instead of being just colorful, they are inspired by the concept of color-blocking instead.
Now, color-blocking means using opposite ends of the color spectrum to literally halt the flow of colors. This is done on the laptop itself thanks to the accent around the perimeter of the screen. Interesting design choice here since most laptops in the market nowadays are only available in a single, understated color or with the “gamer look”.
With this in mind, the new ASUS VivoBook S15 S531 is available in a total of 5 different, distinct colors whereby the VivoBook S14 S431 is only available in two color options.
From what we can deduce, both of these laptops are actually made with different users in mind. The VivoBook S15 S531 is a great all-rounder laptop for those who want a laptop that can decently handle the tasks thrown at it – even some light creative work on Adobe creative suite of software.
Then there’s the ASUS VivoBook S14 S431, which I think is a companion to your powerful desktop. Looking at the specs of this laptop, it is definitely targeted to those who want a secondary laptop with intense CPU power with the speed to match. Let’s say… you need extra CPU power to do some calculation for your programming work while on the go. Then, for more taxing work, back to your desktop.
Let’s not forget that both these laptops have NanoEdge display with slim bezels on all sides, and also Windows Hello feature built into these machines. Great feature to have, honestly.
Here are the specs and pricing of each laptop.
