Final Words
Overall, my experience with the BlackBerry KEYone is very positive and I really love the typing experience on the physical keyboard. Even though the phone might not be that optimised for entertainment and media consumption, but high-performance games still run fine on it and the image quality of the camera is great.
At the price of RM 2,688 and BlackBerry only offers a single variant which is the Snapdragon 625 with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage option. However, for the price I’m paying, I expect it to come with a higher performance chip such as the Snapdragon 821.
Consider that you can get the Moto Z Play (RM 1,899) or Moto Z2 Play (RM 1,999) with almost similar performance and battery life. Therefore, before you jump the gun on getting the KEYone, you need to ask yourself how much you need the physical keyboard. Otherwise, you need to be a hardcore BlackBerry fan or keyboard purist to justify the purchase.
