Latest Canon EOS R5 Mark II full-frame mirrorless camera announced
1 min readFollowing the newly launched EOS R1, Canon has released yet another new full-frame mirrorless camera: the EOS R5 Mark II.
The new EOS R5 Mark II features a new 45MP back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor and an Accelerated Capture image processor system for excellent performance. Similarly to the EOS R1, this camera also has the Dual Pixel Intelligent AF system for enhanced subject detection and tracking with deep learning, alongside Register People Priority, Action Priority AF, and Eye Control AF.
Furthermore, the camera supports internal 8K DCI 60p RAW video recording and various industry-standard video production modes, as well as the ability to create 4K videos from 8K sensor output and offers slow-motion options.
The EOS R5 Mark II also packs 10-bit Canon Log 2 for vivid color reproduction and Cinema EOS system features for seamless integration into professional workflows. Plus, the new XF-AVC S/XF-HEVC S file system and advanced exposure tools enhance multi-camera shoot efficiency and accuracy.
