Malaysia’s very first Pickleball Summit is backed Canon as Official Imaging Partner
Canon Malaysia has lent its support to the country’s first-ever Pickleball Summit and the Alliance Bank KL Open Pickleball Championship 2025 as the Official Imaging Partner to be part of Malaysia’s growing sports scene.
The event, organised by Courtsite in collaboration with Alliance Bank, brought together more than 656 players, 300 industry stakeholders, and a wide community of enthusiasts, signaling a rising momentum for pickleball nationwide.
The summit aligns with national goals under the MADANI framework and the National Sports Vision 2030, which aim to foster inclusive wellness, community engagement, and active lifestyles. Canon’s involvement underscored its commitment to these priorities through the lens of imaging technology.
Imaging solutions meet sport and storytelling
Canon used the summit as a platform to showcase its imaging innovations tailored to players, clubs, and fans through interactive exhibits that highlighted high-quality cameras and printers designed for instant capture and sharing of match highlights, alongside professional videography and live-streaming solutions geared toward sports venues and event organizers. These tools aim to elevate engagement, storytelling, and the visibility of emerging sports.
In the meantime, its Network Visual Solutions and creative print services also demonstrated how imaging can play a role in strengthening sports marketing and operations, particularly for a sport still establishing its footprint.
Canon’s participation in the event reflected its broader Kyosei philosophy of working together for the common good. This includes sustainability initiatives such as tree-planting campaigns and environmental education, which sit alongside its efforts to support health, creativity, and social connection through imaging.
