CDNetworks Boosts Digital Performance in Southeast Asia with 10 Tbps Upgrade
CDNetworks, the leading provider of Edge-as-a-Service solutions in Asia Pacific (APAC), announced a significant network upgrade today. This upgrade will deliver an additional 10 Tbps of bandwidth capacity, specifically targeting South and Southeast Asia (SSEA).
This investment strengthens CDNetworks’ position as the region’s performance leader. The additional capacity builds upon their existing 100% network coverage in SSEA and is further bolstered by the strategic deployment of 10 new local scrubbing centers.
“This upgrade signifies CDNetworks’ commitment to empowering businesses and consumers in the digital age,” said Antony Li, CDNetworks’ Global Head of Infrastructure. “The enhanced network will ensure a robust Content Delivery Network (CDN) across SSEA, leading to a significantly improved digital experience for all.”
Expanding Reach and Local Support
Beyond the capacity upgrade, CDNetworks is also expanding its network reach through collaborations with over 80 local Internet Service Providers (ISPs). This collaboration will lead to the creation of more Points of Presence (PoPs), with an expected total of 220 PoPs by the end of the year. This extended network will cover all ASEAN member countries, South Asia, and the South Pacific Islands.
Headquartered in Singapore with over 20 years of experience in SSEA, CDNetworks understands the region’s unique needs. Their local support framework goes beyond infrastructure, offering dedicated country managers, strategically placed offices, and a global support center in Malaysia. This comprehensive approach has helped CDNetworks build trust with a diverse range of industries, including e-commerce, gaming, travel, and media & entertainment.
Shaping the Digital Future of SSEA
CDNetworks’ focus extends beyond network performance. By working closely with customers, they aim to optimize business strategies and create a unified digital future for SSEA. This latest upgrade solidifies CDNetworks’ position as a key partner in the region’s digital transformation journey.
