#FindDali is a Q&A Platform for Transportation
Kuala Lumpur citizens must have noticed the massive billboards and advertising panels are plastered with a mysterious moustached-silhouette and #FindDali hashtag for the past few months. We tried to research for clues on the Internet to no avail until the site finally discloses the true identity of Dali – a Bot and Community to answer your burning question about transportations.
#FindDali
Powered by car-sharing startup SOCAR, Dali is set to become the city’s on-call transportation aide providing commuters with resources to make well informed and smarter mobility choices. Backed by an AI (artificial intelligence) engine and an intuitive sense of community, the #finddali interactive platform will provide answers to everyday transport woes.
Along with a strong technology front, the platform is also designed in a manner that encourages commuters to input their own responses and to use everyday travel experiences to guide other commuters facing similar situations. Dali is your transportation aide.
In layman’s terms, #FindDali platform is fully supported by the car-sharing startup SOCAR which we covered their official launch in Malaysia early this year. The site is basically a question and answer platform about transportation. As mentioned, they have an A.I. (artificial intelligence) engine that will answer all your burning questions. After throwing a couple of questions at Dali, apparently, it is not as intelligent as what we are expecting.
However, there’s more about the platform – the community. If Dali couldn’t give you an answer that is actually helpful, at least the community over at the platform could still answer your questions. Right now, the members are restricted to SOCAR users only so you’ll have to register an account with SOCAR to be able to post questions to the community.
Our Thoughts
#FindDali is a rather interesting concept especially the marketing hype it manages to throw around. To be honest, after trying out the site for a couple of minutes, we found that it is rather simple and straightforward. Type your answer and hope Dali can find the answer from its database or else you’ll have to log in to the platform and ask the community instead.
Will Malaysians buy this idea?
