FUJIFILM Malaysia releases all-new X-M5 mirrorless digital camera along with two new premium FUJINON lenses
2 min readFUJIFILM Malaysia has launched its latest X-M5 mirrorless digital camera, as well as two new FUJINON lenses: the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II and XF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR. Let’s take a brief look at each of them.
FUJIFILM X-M5
Being the lightest camera in the X-series, the new FUJIFILM X-M5 mirrorless digital camera boasts a compact design and weighs around 355g. It features a 26.1MP backside-illuminated X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and an X-Processor 5 for impressive image quality, while the Film Simulation dial offers a variety of color tone options similar to classic photographic films.
Together with AI-powered subject detection autofocus and 6.2K/30P video recording capabilities, this camera is ideal for capturing both stills and videos. Its design also showcases the premium aesthetics typical of the X series.
FUJINON XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II
Moving on, the XF16-55mmF2.8 R LM WR II is a versatile large-aperture zoom lens with a constant F2.8 aperture, covering focal lengths from 16mm to 55mm. Ideal for various photography styles, including nature, landscape, and portraits, it delivers high-resolution and smooth bokeh.
At a weight of just 410g, the lens combines portability with advanced video features, making it a good option for both photographers and videographers seeking a compact yet high-performance lens.
FUJINON Lens XF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR
Last but not least, the XF500mmF5.6 R LM OIS WR is a compact and lightweight super-telephoto lens boasting a 500mm focal with an aperture of F5.6. Designed for APS-C cameras, it takes advantage of the 1.5x crop factor for excellent image magnification.
By using a teleconverter, the lens’ focal length can be extended to 700mm using the XF1.4X TC WR, or up to 1000mm with the XF2.0X TC WR. Plus, it features a 5.5-stop optical image stabilization system for sharp, stable images even at long focal lengths.
