Born with the purpose of integrating technology seamlessly into women’s daily lives, the event attracted esteemed patrons, including Datuk Yasmin Mahmood, Managing Partner at Future Ready Consulting, the visionary Anne Abraham, founder and Chairperson at LeadWomen, and esteemed tech experts like TPr. Wee Huay Neo, Advisor at PIKOM E-Commerce Malaysia, and the accomplished Datuk Ng Wan Peng, Director at Digital Penang.
But the celebration wasn’t just about reminiscing the journey and experiences; it embodied the spirit of giving back to the community. In a heartwarming gesture, Gorgeous Geeks donated a total of 10 laptops to four charities devoted to serving underprivileged children: Dignity for Children Foundation, House of Joy, Yayasan Sunbeams Homes, and Community at Heart.
Beyond bridging the digital divide for the less fortunate, Gorgeous Geeks remains wholeheartedly committed to equipping women with crucial tech skills and knowledge through their dynamic activities, transformative programs, and impactful contributions.
Their influence has been profound, drawing the participation of over 3,000 women from 8 cities in a plethora of enriching events, immersive workshops, and enlightening conferences. A testament to their success lies in the fact that every single attendee expressed a positive transformation and acquired valuable digital knowledge upon completing their respective courses.
