Final Words
On paper, the Honor 8 Pro got almost everything right – high-end Kirin 960 chipset, 6 GB RAM, 4000 mAh battery, 5.7-inch display and RM 1,999. All these numbers point directly to the general consumer market where numbers are being compared. Honestly speaking, the overall user experience has remained pretty consistent for all the Huawei and Honor devices.
My complaint would be the battery management, especially in the software department for longer operating hours. Meanwhile revising the fast charging technology for even faster and reasonable charging time. Overall, the Honor 8 Pro gives me a lot of Deja-Vu as it basically is a combination of Honor 8 & Huawei P10 Plus.
If you’re in the market looking for the best smartphone or phablet under RM 1999, the Honor 8 Pro is quite a contender after LG V20 and OnePlus 3T.
