Quad Camera: Front and Back Dual-Lens Camera
We are no stranger to dual camera setup especially when almost every smartphone manufacturer now has various models of smartphones that come with it. This time, Huawei is stepping up the game with the inclusion of the dual camera for both front and back shooters. The dual lens camera at the front features 13MP + 2MP configuration. It offers photography capabilities such as precise 3D facial technology, portrait enhancements and beauty effects. Meanwhile at the back is the 16MP + 2MP configuration. The main sensor has 1.75um large pixel size for that low light performance and superior bokeh effect.
Huawei’s First: FullView Display
Then, the most interesting fact is that the Huawei nova 2i will be the company’s first ever smartphone with FullView 18:9 display. The front display takes up almost 83% of the front glass estate and it gives an immersive visual experience. At the 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution, this is a no-brainer especially when the device itself has the affordable price tag of RM 1,299.
Great Performance
Speaking of no-brainer price tag, that brings us to the internal components of the Huawei nova 2i. It comes with Huawei Kirin 659 octa-core chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The internal storage of 64 GB supports up to 256 GB microSD card expansion. Powering the device is the non-removable 3340 mAh battery that is capable of two days of typical usage thanks to the optimisation done on the EMUI 5.1 and Android 7.0.
Pricing & Availability
