KFC Enthusiasts Assemble for a Chance to Win a Year’s Supply of Chicken

There aren’t many things that bring people together. If you give this a serious thought, you will probably come across two things that can unite people, and that are sports, and food. No matter what the sport, and no matter the identity of the supporters. If you stumble across someone who likes and supports the same team that you do, you are friends. No questions asked. Similarly, when it comes to food, the type of cuisine is no limitation. There might be innumerable cuisines across various cultures, but at the end of the day, food is what sustains people, and good food is what sustains a good mood. It is one of the reasons that it is difficult to be mad (or even think about anything else) when there is good food in front of you.

You would have noticed that in most cases, food and sports actually go together. Watching live telecasts of matches feels incomplete without a snack, be it pizza or chicken. A large number of people visit the Melbet Sign up to explore their sports betting options, because the registration process is simple, and the options are numerous. But all this is usually accompanied by some sort of snack, and what better to snack on, than a KFC bucket, right? After all, it is finger-licking good!

And now, KFC India is attempting a new recipe: on the blockchain! The food joint chain has garnered a lot of popularity over the years, for its wide range of non-vegetarian dishes, and its incomparable taste. Recently, they announced their foray into the digital space, with the KFC BuckETH. It is a non-fungible token, or an NFT, as it is commonly called. NFT tokens are unique, which makes it difficult to use them for fraudulent activities. NFT tokens are usually collected by people who take an interest in collectables like art or real estate.

KFC partnered up with Blink Digital to roll out this NFT that will be available on the Ethereum blockchain as an ERC-721 token. This news was announced on an Instagram live hosted by Sharan Hegde and Danish Sait.

To participate, people need to follow the official KFC India page on Instagram, and then post the “Ultimate Chicken Liver Checklist” (the format for that will be available on the stories of the official page) while tagging KFC. You would also have to take 5 other people. KFC will randomly select the winner, who will get the NFTs and free chicken for a year.

The KFC spokesperson explained that the bucket has been synonymous with KFC for ages. The wide range of buckets they offer is hardly comparable to any other food chain. The various chicken buckets have been a part of establishing the identity and heritage of the joint food chain.

The participation process is relatively simple, and the reward awaiting the winner is grand. So people are jumping at their chance to secure their free one year’s worth of chicken. Join in on the fun!
