Kingston ranks No.1 for SSD shipment for 2022

With no surprise, Kingston once again wears the crown for total SSD unit shipped for 2022 and continues its legacy as the top performer in the flash storage market.
Crediting the success of its PCIe 4.0 drives for the achievement, the wide variety of choices provided to different user bases makes Kingston’s presence in any price category competitive and attractive from the budget section’s NV2 to the mid-range KC3000 up towards the high-performance FURY Renegade models. As a result, the brand took 24% of the market share under its name – just shy of a full quarter.
As the adoption rate increases over the years thanks to recent PC and laptop systems all supporting PCIe 4.0 from the get-go combining the all-time low prices of flash modules, the price-to-performance-to-capacity ratio is just way too good when compared to last-gen PCIe 3.0 offerings.
