With a market share of 68.8%, Kingston remains number one for the 21st consecutive year, despite the industry experiencing a 28% year-over-year decline in DRAM module sales in 2023.
The report indicates that the top ten memory module manufacturers represented 93% of total 2023 sales, with Kingston dominating at 68.8%. While the consumer electronics sector faced challenges due to post-pandemic inventory corrections and pricing pressures, Kingston’s strong brand presence and diverse market coverage helped minimize the impact of these industry-wide challenges.
Throughout 2023, Kingston continued to innovate, launching several new products including the Kingston FURY Renegade Pro DDR5 RDIMM for professionals and creators, and validating its Server Premier DDR5 4800MT/s Registered DIMMs for use with 4th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable Processors.
The company also updated its Kingston FURY Renegade DDR4 memory design and reached a significant milestone of shipping over 100 million overclockable modules.
