The Philips Smart Hub located at UOA Business Park, Shah Alam is now officially open for business – 3D print your custom lighting items from RM399
2 min readThe all-new Philips Smart Hub flagship store is now live for customers to walk in and enjoy a new lighting experience.
The company behind the business of Philips Lighting, Signify offers access to many comprehensive products such as Philips Hue and WiZ where you can easily get an assortment of lighting solutions recommended to you and made available for purchase right on the spot. But that’s not the end of the story.
Signify plans to amp the game of customization through its very first 3D-printing lighting service that can be tailored to personal preference and professional industrial cases. At the store, all luminaires can be started off from a selection of base templates and be worked through phases with customer’s ideas and creativity all the way until the delivery of the products right to their doorstep. In doing so, the carbon footprint can be reduced compared to standard manufacturing processes by using 100% recyclable polycarbonate instead of aluminum housing. With the reduction of energy consumption right from production to delivery, the entire process is expected to produce 76% less carbon footprint which is amazing.
Speaking of the service, it is categorized under the RD Series where several aspects can be personalized such as shapes, materials, and textures up to specific customizations like custom logos and branding can all be discussed and implemented with all possible methods. The cost of the service starts from RM399 where it is offered locally at the store or you can do it online via LazMall and Shopee Mall if you are not living within the Klang Valley area.
By the way, there will be a launch celebration where up to 50% discount of items within the store is up for grabs. Head over there to take a refreshing and special experience while nabbing some bulbs for your next house decoration project.
