It is now official – the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S24 family marks a whole new era of artificial intelligence for general consumers.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
The Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra has the most changes this year. First of all, the chassis frame is now made of Titanium and I can immediately tell how the weight balance has shifted slightly when compared with the S23 Ultra I had since last year. Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus
The standard S24 & S24 Plus remained largely the same compared with last year’s S23 & S23 Plus. We are still getting the same triple camera placement at the back with rounded corners on the phone chassis.
The biggest update this year is no other than the smoothening of the chassis edges that feels way nicer to hold in the hand (without a case). Unfortunately, the majority of the users will put on a case the moment they got the phone.

As for the standard S24, it is still my favourite form factor as it fits just nicely on my palm.
Galaxy AI with One UI 6.1
Launching together with the Galaxy S24 Series is the One UI 6.1 which comes packed with a slew of intelligent AI features such as Photo Assist, Circle to Search, Chat Assist and Note Assist.
- Photo Assist – AI-powered editing recommendations that could detect and remove unwanted reflections, recomposition of subject, background removal, and even generative fill.
- Circle to Search – An official collaboration with Google that enables effortless search that provides in-depth answers without even needing to switch the app.
- Chat Assist – Translation-focused feature set that utilizes the power of artificial intelligence to break the barrier of communication. It allows real-time translation over phone calls and even chat apps.
- Note Assist – Imaging a smart assistant that helps you with summarizing notes, internet searches and even recorded contents.
