Samsung introduces premium Crystal 4K UHD TV lineup for 2021
2 min readSamsung Malaysia has revealed the latest 4K UHD TV lineup which is the Crystal UHD series.
The AU9000, AU8000, and AU7000 are among the first models equipped with the Crystal Dynamic Color to deliver 1 billion colors to the viewer all packed into an even slimmer and tighter AirSlim design that also reduces the carbon footprint as a side benefit. Inside the TV is the Crystal Processor that does all the upscaling tasks from lower resolutions alongside contrast, color, and HDR adjustments in one go.
For the sound department, the Q-Symphony output synchronization will sync all external speakers and TV ones to provide a greater surround sound experience while Adaptive Sound smartly analyzes scenes to determine relevant directional audio, if applicable. AU9000 users will get to enjoy the additional Object Tracking Sound Lite technology that plays 3D virtual audio for added immersion.
Being the top model, AU9000 also provides gamers with Motion Accelerator Turbo that enables Low Latency Mode and Dynamic Refresh Rate through AMD FreeSync coupled with the native Game Bar that smartly groups certain HUD stats such as FPS, latency, HDR, and volume for easy on-the-fly adjustment. Multi-View even provides the possibility of local couch gaming by separating the screens in half and accepting 2 video input signals at once.
For those who only seek out a pure viewing experience without all the additional flares of convenience, the AU7000 packs the same hardware at a lower price point that displays visuals and churns out audio at the same quality. Operating the TV is the underlying Tizen OS that provides smart control and seamless connection across the living area within the reach of the device.
