Samsung unveils two new series of The Wall with new Micro LED technology @ Samsung Display Tech Summit 2022
Samsung has recently announced two new series of The Wall which be featuring next-gen Micro LED technology during the Samsung Display Tech Summit 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand. Let’s have a look at what they have to offer.
Let’s talk about The Wall All-in-One first, which is also known as the IAB series. Available in 3 models: 4K 146-inch, 2K 146-inch, and 2K 110-inch, the IAB series is emphasized as one of the easiest devices to install. Samsung has stated that it will only require two technicians and two hours of their time to completely set up the display, as it comes with a pre-adjusted seam and pre-assembled frame kit.
The next one is the IWB series of The Wall, which comes in 0.63 and 0.94-pixel pitches along with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10/10+ support, and LED HDR. The IWB series also offers a wide variety of sizes, ranging from the smaller(?) 4K 110-inch to the gigantic 8K 220-inch.
Just like all the previous The Wall, these new series also have the Black Seal technology for purer black levels, Ultra Chroma for more accurate RGB wavelengths, as well as 20-bit processing for enhanced contrast ratio and smooth, natural tonal gradients.
There were also several more Micro LED-based products showcased at the Samsung Display Tech Summit 2022, such as the ViewFinity S8 for the content creators, and the Odyssey Ark 55-inch curved monitor for gaming enthusiasts.
