Samsung Electronics wins total of 71 products design awards
Samsung Electronics has received a total of 71 awards through the International Forum (iF) Design, a prestigious German international design competition. Although they’ve won a grand total of 71 awards, we’ll be focusing on three particular products that won the gold award today.
First up, we have a mini portable projector, the Freestyle. It can project images up to 254cm in diagonal length, be it on the wall, the ceiling, or the floor as it can rotate 180°. It can be used both indoor and outdoor thanks to its lightweight and minimal design. The Freestyle is almost more than just a projector, as it can be used as a Bluetooth speaker or an ambient lamp that can emit light in various colors, depending on the user’s preferences.
Up next, we have the Galaxy Z Flip3 smartphone featuring an innovative design. It was awarded for its iconic and compact design that comes with an exclusive foldable experience. Thanks to its unique form factor, users can enjoy the full smartphone experience when unfolded and pocketable design when folded in half. Users can also view notifications and capture a quick photo even when it’s in folded mode.
Last but not least, the Bespoke Slim vacuum cleaner has also won the Gold Award for its simple design that blends well with the surrounding living space. The Bespoke concept was applied to the product, bringing it to fit individual lifestyles and tastes while also improving the experience throughout the cleaning process.
