Samsung Galaxy Buds2 Pro Early Hands On – Finally Some High Resolution Audio
2 min readAfter finishing trying on the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 5G, Z Fold4 5G, and the Watch5, it is time for the last buy on the list – the new Galaxy Buds2 Pro.
I was intrigued by what Samsung is going to put on the table here since it has been quite some time since the first generation Buds Pro and I wonder what took them so long. But one thing is for sure, great products often don’t come as quickly and for a top-of-the-line product, there’s little to no room for screw-ups.
So let’s see what will these pairs of TWS offers.
Flipping open the case and the signature earbuds down placement used by the majority of Galaxy Buds (Not you, Buds Live) can be seen.
Taking the earbuds out and coming from me that used the Buds Pro before, the Bora Purple color (At least for this) is flat which means it immediately lost the charm of reflective surface that some user like but it seems that matte and flat is what Samsung is going for.
Being the new top dog in the TWS market, the Buds2 Pro supports Hi-Fi 24bit Audio that can finally do some justice to the FLAC music files stored in your phone. Paired with the new Samsung seamless codec SSC HiFi, the quality of music is further improved with much less lost detail. The coaxial 2-way speaker is going to make your life much better during some music chillbacks too.
The design is also kinda nice though even though the charging terminal is just exposed like that. Shape-wise, Samsung said it is 15% smaller and is tuned to prevent any rotation caused by canal or external movements. Take it on the go with ease with powerful ANC to eliminate stray noise from polluting your favorite tracks. For extra convenience, you can connect up to 2 devices and seamlessly switch between them in case you need to take a quick call during a TV binge session.
And as usual, get some help to find them through SmartThings during the times you accidentally misplaced your buds into the unknown void.
So, my time with it may be a little bit too short so look forward to the review of using it for various types of musics.
