New Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, Tab S9 FE series, and Galaxy Buds FE announced for Malaysia and go on shelves starting Oct 10
Samsung Malaysia has finally unveiled its latest range of FE products, encompassing smartphones, tablets, and TWS categories.
To begin with, the Galaxy S23 FE is built upon the foundation of the original S23 but has undergone comprehensive adjustments in terms of both components and capabilities.
In comparison to its predecessor, the S21 FE, the S23 FE features slimmer bezels around the display, giving users the impression of a larger screen.
Equipped with a capable set of lenses for everyday photography, the S23 FE can be likened to as “S23 Lite,” although it’s worth noting that this description may not necessarily apply to its price point.
If you’re well-acquainted with the specifications, you’ll understand what I mean.

Moving on to the Galaxy Tab S9 FE tablet family, while there are several SKUs available, the primary options are the Tab S9 FE and the Tab S9 FE+ – the latter distinguished by its larger 12.4-inch screen, while the standard FE version boasts a 10.9-inch display.
Both models strive to be versatile and cater to a wide range of use cases, including home, work, entertainment, and more. However, compared to the non-FE Tab S9 models, there’s a slight downgrade in the screen, transitioning from a 120Hz AMOLED to a 90Hz IPS LCD. Nonetheless, most other aspects remain largely unchanged, preserving a similar overall user experience, provided you can accept this compromise.
Accessibility-wise, the price seems to be easier to swallow for the tablet though.

Finally, let’s talk about the Galaxy Buds FE – perhaps the product among the three with the most subtle changes. It offers a straightforward design and functionality, featuring ANC and Ambient Sound modes, enabling you to control your audio environment. Moreover, the tri-mic system, powered by an AI algorithm, ensures clear transmission of your voice to the other side.
With a total playback time of 30 hours (including the case), you can use them for multiple days without needing to recharge. The ergonomic design, complemented by the included 3-size ear tips and 2-size wing tips, ensures comfortable and extended wear. The Galaxy Buds FE is priced at RM399 and is available in Graphite and White color options.
