Dual Camera
Let’s start off with the obvious, the dual camera at the back, featuring dual 12-megapixels sensors with dual optical image stabilisation (OIS). As far as I know, the Note8 is the first to implement OIS to both cameras at the back. This is especially useful when the secondary camera at the back has a telephoto lens.
With dual camera setup, Samsung is introducing the Live Focus feature where it allows you to control the amount of Bokeh (depth of field) straight from the preview and after you take the photo. When you press the shutter button, both rear cameras will take 2 photos simultaneously. Which means you get to keep one shot for the close-up and another shot for the wide view angle.
Infinity Display
The introduction of the Infinity Display on the Galaxy S8 & S8+Â has been well received by the public and it is the natural thing for the South Korean company to put it on their Note series as well. The Quad HD+ Super AMOLED display comes at 6.3-inches, it is the biggest screen ever on a Note device yet retaining the usability thanks to the 18.5:9 display ratio.
More Features
Other than the key features mentioned above, the Note8 also comes with many other features, for example:
- S Pen
- Fast Wireless Charging
- IP68 Water & Dust Resistance
- Iris & fingerprint scanning
