Samsung Malaysia has officially launched the ring wearable Galaxy Ring for the local market, and I’m sure lots of people are eager to try out a new way to “wear something smart on the hand”.
Encased in a durable titanium build with a refined, concave design, the Galaxy Ring looks very clean and tough, and sure it is, as it boasts a 10 ATM water resistance rating for round-the-clock health tracking in addition to things like swimming and workouts.
Within the ring is a set of 3 key sensors that track the user’s heart rate, skin temperature, and motion directly from the finger. The collected data is then processed by Galaxy AI in real time and then passed to the Samsung Health app to inform users of the best actions to achieve the optimal lifestyle.

Although the official launch date is today, selected users of the Galaxy Z and S series can purchase the Galaxy Ring using an invitation code available through the Samsung Members app, and for the best experience of wearing the thing, every buyer should visit a Samsung Experience Store to try on a sizing kit before finalising their purchase online. As each unit is custom-made, delivery may take up to six weeks.
