Intro
The Samsung Galaxy S8 is probably one of the most anticipated smartphones of the year. For one is that the South Korean company has taken a leap of faith in the design department and bid farewell to some of their iconic designs that lasted since their very first iteration of the Galaxy S lineup. For two is the aftermath of the Galaxy Note7 battery disaster that took place just last year. Many must be wondering how would Samsung actually pick themselves up and regain the public’s confidence.
Nonetheless, after the much awaited official launch in Malaysia, we finally got our hands onto the Samsung Galaxy S8+. The “Plus” indicates the larger variant of the standard S8, boasting a 6.2-inch display over the 5.8-inch of the standard model. Let’s find out what does Samsung has to offer for the price of RM 3,699.

Unboxing
What you get in the box:
- Samsung Galaxy S8+
- Adaptive Fast Charging wall adapter
- USB-A to USB-C cable
- AKG in-ear earphones & replacement earbuds
- Micro-USB to USB-C adapter
- USB-A to USB-C OTG adapter

What a solid package especially the inclusion of the OTG adapter is a bonus!
This is such a useful tool where it allows the phone to access files on a USB flash drive. You rarely find any smartphone brands that include this with their smartphone.
Samsung also thoughtfully includes a micro USB to USB-C adapter so that you can still at least use your old cables.
