There’s certainly a lot of question surrounding the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 5G and Galaxy Z Flip3 5G as both of them featured new mechanisms and different device propositions. However, Samsung’s latest news release and video seem to answer a lot of them in one go.

Galaxy Z Series Reliability Test_Thumb728To test the phones, the company carried a series of different endurance tests that includes an environmental chamber, water resistance course for the IPX8 rating, S Pen usability, and folding tests. As the name suggests, the environmental chamber puts the devices to the test against various simulated climate parameters such as dry, humid, hot, and cold and there’s the water resistance test as usual. For the S Pen test, it is done to ensure the digitizer sits underneath the folding place and the folding tests basically perform automated folding routines up to 200,0001 folds or 100 folds per day for 5 years.

Check out the video down below to see all the tests in action.

If foldables are really the future, when is rollable’s turn though?
