Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro Review: Sleek & Fashionable Fitness Tracker

Battery
Samsung has stated in their specification sheet that the Gear Fit2 Pro with a single full charge can last for about 4~5 days. Under controlled environment, I believe that is just about right.
In my real life test, I have the display brightness set to 60% and enabling instant messaging notification & vibration. I could get somewhere 3 days of runtime on a single charge which is very impressive for a small built-in 200 mAh battery.
Charging
Samsung provided a USB magnetic charging dock for the Gear Fit2 Pro without a charging adaptor. First, the watch only has a 200 mAh battery, so it will charge just fine even through your computer’s USB port. Secondly, it reduces the package size means lower cost for logistics.
I do understand that the use of charging dock is to avoid putting a micro USB / USB-C connector directly on the watch itself, which in return we get a smaller device with the largest possible battery. However, without the charging dock, there is no way for the user to charge the device which I think is a bigger problem.
Charging is relatively fast. The graph above shows the charging speed when using a 5V1A charging adaptor.
