Samsung adds HDR10+ support for Netflix shows and movies for enhanced viewing experience

Samsung has announced HDR10+ support for Netflix shows and movies on its smart TVs and monitors in HDR10+, bringing richer contrast and deeper colors.

HDR10+ is an advanced high dynamic range (HDR) technology developed by Samsung to deliver optimized picture quality on a scene-by-scene basis. By dynamically adjusting brightness and contrast, it ensures each frame appears with impressive clarity and detail.

Thanks to this integration, users can enjoy more realistic visuals and enhanced depth in HDR10+ content on Netflix. That said, the Netflix HDR10+ content will roll out on Samsung’s 2025 Neo QLED, OLED, and Lifestyle TVs, as well as 2024 and 2025 monitor models, with additional device support to follow.
