Samsung has recently unveiled a range of home appliances at CES 2023, which are all designed to address the growing demand for customization and deliver intelligent connectivity that will greatly enhance users’ daily lives. Let’s find out what are those.

Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Family Hub+

First up, the new Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Family Hub+ boasts a 32-inch, bezel-less FHD screen that is almost twice as large as the previous models, along with a larger dashboard that makes use of the screen to enable users to easily experience SmartThings services as well as operating their compatible home appliances.

On top of that, users can watch their favorite TV shows while monitoring the status of other kitchen appliances and what they are cooking simultaneously thanks to the larger screen space and Samsung TV Plus’s new picture-in-picture feature.

The Bespoke 4-Door Flex Refrigerator with Family Hub+ is expected to arrive in North America and Korea in the first half of 2023.

Bespoke Side-by-Side Refrigerator & Top-Mounted Freezer Refrigerator

Next on the list is the Bespoke Side-by-Side Refrigerator, which sports a minimalist design and a customizable front panel available in both glass and stainless-steel finishes.

Inside the refrigerator, it features the latest food storage and cooling technologies, such as the Beverage Center which provide easy access to the Plumbing Water Dispenser and AutoFill Water Pitcher with Infuser that offers cold or naturally flavored water, as well as the Dual Auto Ice Maker for Cubed Ice or Ice Bites at any time.

Similar to the Bespoke Side-by-Side Refridgerator, the Bespoke Top-Mounted Freezer Refrigerator comes in stylish colors that go nicely with modern kitchen décor. It adopts Samsung’s Optimal Fresh Zone+ and Active Fresh Filter which are capable of keeping food fresh for a long time while eliminating 99.99% of bacteria.

Not only that, but users may save energy while using it by enabling SmartThings Energy’s AI Energy Mode, which optimizes the compressor speed and the frequency of the defrost cycle depending on users’ usage patterns and surroundings.

The Bespoke Side-by-Side Refrigerator will be launched in the U.S. in Q1 2023, while the Bespoke Top-Mounted Freezer Refrigerator will first be available in Thailand in March 2023, and will then be released globally.

With an internal camera and powerful AI, the oven’s Sense Inside feature can recommend cooking settings by recognizing up to 80 different dishes and ingredients.

The oven’s integration with SmartThings Cooking and Samsung Health also enables it to evaluate users’ fitness metrics and diet goals to offer meal options based on the ingredients they have at home.

Shoppers in Europe can now order the Bespoke AI Oven in five different design options, while those in North America will have to wait until Q3 2023 for it to be available.

SmartThings Station

Last but not least, the SmartThings Station offers quick setup and compatibility with a wide range of smart home products, which includes Matter devices.

A smart home hub enables multiple devices such as thermostats, lighting, and power outlets to seamlessly interconnect with one another to link to the smart home server, and SmartThings Station makes it even simpler to automate pre-set routines created via the SmartThings mobile app, eliminating the need for users to manually control individual devices.

What’s more, the SmartThings Station serves as a charging pad that supports up to 15W wireless charging, and users may choose if they would like to receive an alert or not when charging is complete. It is also compatible with Samsung’s SmartThings Find, which allows users to locate misplaced devices by double pressing the Smart Button to ring their nearby phone.
