Samsung’s Clean Station is the best Stick Vacuum Companion
I hate corded vacuum cleaners. Sure, they are more powerful for cleaning but the hassle of dragging around the power cord as well as the main vacuum unit itself makes the whole cleaning progress less enjoyable. I mean, doing house chore should be more enjoyable rather than being frustrated. That’s why these battery-powered stick vacuum cleaners manage to capture the public’s attention and some households even own both corded and wireless vacuum cleaners for different cleaning purposes.
In my use case, I kept my corded vacuum for major cleaning while a stick vacuum for everyday vacuuming needs. Well, having two cats at home means I have to do the vacuuming almost every single day. The flexibility of having different motorised roller makes it extremely versatile in cleaning different surfaces such as the hard floor, carpets or even bed/couch. However, there’s one thing that I don’t really like about these wireless stick vacuum cleaners is the bin cleaning process.
Of course, manufacturers often tout about how amazing their vacuum cleaner has multi-layer filters to prevent dust from escaping the vacuum cleaner unit. That itself never really solve the problem of dust escaping when you attempting to empty the bin. Until today I saw Samsung’s announcement of their latest Jet-series cordless vacuum cleaner. Now, don’t get me wrong, their cordless vacuum cleaners are amazing, just like how we have previously reviewed the POWERstick Pro VS8000 and POWERstick Jet VS9000. The new Samsung Jet 70 Easy is both attractive in terms of pricing and functionality, however, the key highlight is nothing other than that Clean Station.
Sold separately for RM699, yes it is one hell expensive dustbin just for emptying a stick vacuum canister, but please just take a look at the video how it just WHOOOSH and take in all the trash right into its belly without spewing dust in the air.
I mean you can joke however you want with this product, be it the vacuum cleaner for a vacuum cleaner or vacuum-ception. Please be grateful you have a less sensitive nose, some of us did not have such privilege. Hence this product has its reason to exist. That goes without saying, as a tech reviewer, I still hold back my final judgement on this product until I have the chance to actually test it out by myself. I’ll keep you guys posted until then.
