To use the TnG RFID at Shell petrol stations, users will need a TnG RFID tag linked to their TnG eWallet account, where they will also need to make a one-time registration and activation through the app. And with that done, users can simply park their vehicles at the RFID-designated fuelling bays, fill up a full tank of gasoline, and continue their journey seamlessly.

Payments will then be auto-debited from users’ TnG eWallets, enabling them to have a quicker process of refueling their vehicles. On top of that, any unused amounts will also be immediately refunded to the app.

What’s more, Shell and Touch ‘n Go will reward the first 25,000 customers who use the TnG RFID to purchase fuels at Shell stations from 10th August until 16th September. Customers simply have to pump a minimum of RM50 on their first TnG RFID transaction at Shell to receive an RM10 cashback. Do take note that the cashback is only eligible for first-time users of this feature.
