Signify showcases its latest WiZ lineup featuring SpaceSense and Matter Capability Flow
2 min readSignify has launched its new WiZ Smart Connected Lighting and Philips Smart LED portfolio, both of which adopt the SpaceSense and Matter features. Let’s see what they have to bring to the table.
Before we get into SpaceSense and Matter, this new launch covers every space of users’ homes, right from bulbs to portable lighting, offering a wide range of preset lighting modes, scenes, and dynamic options. Users will be able to enjoy all these new features on the WiZ V2 app, which can be downloaded from both Google Play and Apple Apps Store.
WiZ SpaceSense
The SpaceSense is a tool that allows users to program these brand-new WiZ smart lights to be triggered by motion using Wi-Fi signal-sensing technology, without requiring any extra sensors.
To enjoy this feature, users only need to install the WiZ V2 app and have at least two lights in their room. The sensitivity levels can also be adjusted to specific adjustments like pets moving around at night through the app.
WiZ Matter Adoption
The Matter is a universal open standard enabling compatible devices and systems to securely connect and interact with each other, and the WiZ lineup is among the first smart lighting players to adopt it.
Supported by all major technologies like Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, Matter provides a standard for devices to communicate seamlessly across technologies and platforms, providing users with a more pleasant and easier purchase and control experience.
