Some of you may still remember our previous coverage for SOCAR’s official launch in Malaysia. If you don’t, SOCAR is basically a car-sharing platform where you can book a car for a period of time and enjoy the freedom of having a transport according to your schedule.

In conjunction with the expansion of the SOCAR fleet, the company is announcing the SOCAR Driving Week campaign on their car-sharing app. Members can choose to book and drive selected cars available on the platform at the special price of RM3 – 6/hour with 30km of petrol included for each hour booked.

Launched in January 2018 with 240 cars, SOCAR now has under its belt a strong fleet of over 300 cars, in more than 150 locations within the Klang Valley. The fleet expansion also sees the introduction of new car models such as Volkswagen Polo, Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Vios, Perodua Alza and Perodua Myvi. The expanded fleet of cars now gives commuters the option to choose a car based on their requirements. From grocery shopping to a drive away from the city.

The campaign will run from May 7, 2018, to May 13, 2018, with the following price range (per hour):
