Sonos releases brand-new Era 300 and Era 100 Smart Speakers; price starting at RM1,599

Sonos has introduced its latest smart speakers which deliver superior audio quality paired with innovative design: the Era 300 and Era 100. Let’s take a look at them.

Era 300

The new Era 300 is equipped with six strong drivers that direct sound left, right, front, and upward, giving listeners an impressive audio performance with Dolby Atmos. This speaker’s complex acoustic architecture is wrapped in a hourglass design, with every angle, proportion and perforation increasing sound direction and dispersion to totally surround users.

Furthermore, the Era 300 is Sonos’ first speaker to produce multi-channel surround sound when used as home theatre rears. And to further immerse in movies, moviegoers can also pair two of these speakers with Arc or Beam Gen 2 to create a supercharged Dolby Atmos experience.

Era 100

Being slightly bigger than its predecessor Sonos One, the Era 100 adopts latest hardware and software alongside next-gen acoustics as well as design that brings detailed stereo sound and deep bass. It also has two angled tweeters that deliver crisp high frequencies left and right for a rich stereo experience, along with a larger midwoofer that makes stunning bass.

Similar to the Era 300, users can add two Era 100 speakers as rears with their soundbar to create a surround sound system, or just couple two together for room-filling stereo sound.
