Sony Malaysia introduces latest Alpha 1 II full-frame camera and FE 28-70mm F2 G Master lens

Sony Malaysia has announced that the new Alpha 1 II full-frame camera as well as FE 28-70mm F2 G Master will soon drop in the local market; let’s take a brief look at their main features.

Sony Alpha 1 II

Powered by the brand’s cutting-edge AI processing unit, the Alpha 1 II offers a 50.1MP resolution sensor, blackout-free continuous shooting at up to 30 fps with AF/AE tracking, an anti-distortion shutter, as well as enhanced image clarity at mid-to-high sensitivities.

The AI processing unit also delivers advanced subject recognition, introducing a new ‘Auto’ mode capable of detecting a wide range of subjects. Plus, the camera incorporates features from the Alpha 9 III, such as Pre-Capture for up to one second, and an improved ergonomic design. Despite these enhancements, it retains a lightweight build of approximately 743g, making it suitable for various professional applications.

Sony FE 28-70mm F2 G Master

The FE 28-70mm F2 G Master high-end E-mount lens features a constant F2 aperture throughout its zoom range, bringing stunning bokeh, high resolution, and fast, precise autofocus for both photography and videography, with sharpness and contrast on par with prime lenses.

Designed to be compact and lightweight, this lens provides professionals and creators with the versatility to capture a wide range of scenes in various settings seamlessly

No pricing info on both the new Alpha 1 II and FE 28-70mm F2 G Master yet but Sony Malaysia has confirmed that they will be arriving in the local market sometime in December 2024.
