Sony launches two new high-end Alpha 7C Series cameras — Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR
Sony has recently released two fresh members to the Alpha 7C series of compact full-frame interchangeable lens cameras: the Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7CR. Let’s have a look.
First of all, both the latest Alpha 7C II and Alpha 7C R pack identical AI processing units and BIONZ XR processors, along with Real-time Recognition AF and 5-axis in-body image stabilization. Plus, both models offer support for high-quality 4:2:2 10-bit video recording at up to 4K60p and Sony’s S-Cinetone color science to deliver high-quality cinematic video.
Not only that, they also adopt Active Mode in-body image stabilization, AI-based Auto Framing, digital-audio interface compatibility, and so on which are designed to enhance video shooting.
When it comes to their differences, the Alpha 7C II features a full-frame image sensor with 33.0 effective megapixels and still image/video function in a compact and lightweight design.
On the other hand, the Alpha 7CR boasts the high-resolution and rich gradation performance of a full-size image sensor with 61.0 effective megapixels. Similar to the Alpha 7C II, it is also lightweight and comes in a small form factor.
