Sony releases the latest FE 85mm F1.4 GM II premium lens in Malaysia

Sony has introduced the all-new FE 85mm F1.4 GM II portrait lens, combining high resolution and stunning bokeh with fast autofocus in a compact design.
Featuring an enhanced optical design with two XA and two ED elements, the new FE 85mm F1.4 GM II brings excellent image quality and beautiful bokeh, alongside autofocus that is three times faster than its predecessor.
Furthermore, the lens is now lighter and smaller thanks to advanced mechanical and optical design. Plus, it features an XD linear motor for smooth movie creation at F1.4, minimal focus breathing, and in-body focus breathing compensation.
Not only that, it offers customizable controls, including two focus hold buttons, an AF/MF switch, an independent aperture ring, and Linear Response MF focus control, ensuring intuitive and flexible operation for cinematic and creative shooting.
Pricing and Availability
The new Sony FE 85mm F1.4 GM II lens will be officially available for purchase starting from September 2024 in the Malaysian market at a price of RM8,999.
