Sony HT-X8500 Soundbar with Dolby Atmos now in Malaysia

Sony has unveiled a new soundbar that is sure to improve your home cinema experience equipped with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X. If you’re not sure what Dolby Atmos means, basically the soundbar will produce sounds with amazing clarity and adds dimensionality to the sound. More like 3-D sound system. Whereby DTS:X is an object-based sound technology that is a rival to Dolby Atmos.

Normally only the cinemas have this quality of sound for a movie. Fortunately, the 2.1ch single soundbar delivers object-based cinema sounds which will put you in the middle of your movie experience. The HT-X8500 removes the need for extra speakers to create the surround sound experience thanks to the Vertical Surround Engine from Sony.

Furthermore, the built-in dual subwoofer in the HT-X8500 delivers deep bass and with the Cinema Mode on which is one of the seven optimized sound modes, you can experience your films at their very best.

Other than that, the HT-X8500 has support for multiple high-quality audio codecs such as eARC to pass from your TV to the soundbar. Hate cable mess on your TV console?
