Sony adds free NDI License for the ILME-FR7 line of remote cameras

Sony has announced that it now offers NDI-compatible remote camera systems with standard NDI video equipment connectivity at no extra cost.
The NDI support will be available for both newly sold and existing products, including the Cinema Line Camera ‘ILME-FR7’. Plus, complimentary NDI licenses are provided for the ILME-FR7 starting now to enable users to access NDI connectivity at no additional cost before the release of the next firmware update.
In addition, a firmware upgrade to Version 3.0, scheduled for June 2025, will integrate NDI functionality free of charge, ensuring seamless video connectivity for all eligible models.
