Transcend Receives 4 Taiwan Excellence 2018 Award

Transcend Information Inc is proud to announce that four of their products have received the 2018 Taiwan Excellence Award for their innovative design. The winning products include the StoreJet 25M3E and StoreJet 25C3 portable hard drives, CM42 M.2 SSD enclosure kit, and ESD220C portable SSD.

The Taiwan Excellence Awards are granted by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Affairs. Nominees are put through a rigorous evaluation based on four major criteria – R&D, design, quality, and marketing to be identified outstanding and offer “Innovative Value”. According to TAITRA, 503 products from 226 companies received awards this year.

With industry-leading technical experience and expertise, this is the 14th consecutive year for Transcend to receive the prestigious Taiwan Excellence Awards. As a leading global storage brand, Transcend will continuously provide varied storage solutions tailored to the needs of the consumer market and embedded applications.

StoreJet 25M3E and StoreJet 25C3 Portable Hard Drive

Transcend’s portable hard drives have been the best selling products over years. The award-winning StoreJet 25M3E is equipped with a SuperSpeed USB 3.1 Gen 1 / USB 3.0 interface that allows users to store and back up their files with incredible transfer rates. Featuring three-stage shock protection system that meets U.S. military drop-test standards, the StoreJet 25M3E offers a full data protection stored on the drive.

The other winning portable hard drive, StoreJet 25C3, features an extra-slim design at just 9.95mm, taking up little space in users’ briefcase on business. Despite its slim dimensions, the StoreJet 25C3 is available in high capacities of up to 2TB and high-speed transfer rates, allowing users to easily store and backup all of their files to a single location.

CM42 M.2 SSD Enclosure Kit

Transcend’s CM42 M.2 SSD enclosure kit is designed specifically for M.2 SATA SSDs. By following the quick and easy installation guide, users can transform an M.2 SATA SSD into a portable USB 3.1 Gen 1 external drive to maximize utilization. The M.2 SSD enclosure features a lightweight aluminium construction, making it both portable and durable while on the move. The M.2 SSD enclosure uses the USB 3.1 Gen 1 interface incorporated with UASP that enhances its transfer speeds. To accommodate devices with different USB ports, the M.2 SSD enclosure is engineered to convert to a USB Type-C port, offering the flexibility of being used on different platforms with either USB Type-A or Type-C port. In addition to the Taiwan Excellence Award, the CM42 M.2 SSD enclosure kit also received Japan’s Good Design Award 2017.

ESD220C Portable SSD
