Xiaomi Mi A2 Launches in Malaysia

Xiaomi is introducing its latest Android One device, Xiaomi Mi A2, in Malaysia. Following the wildly successful debut of Mi A1 in September 2017, the new device is set to take on the same footstep and bring the Android One experience to a whole new level.

Once again, the Mi A2 series will put their focus on the mobile photography sector with the introduction of the 12MP +20MP rear AI dual camera and the 20MP front camera. Powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC with Qualcomm’s Artificial Intelligence Engine, they sure are milking as much as possible with the term itself.
As for the smaller Mi A2 Lite is a value for money package with a 12MP + 5MP rear AI dual camera and a 4000 mAh large battery. Interestingly, the Lite has a larger battery.
Pricing & Availability
Mi A2 comes in two versions with the following pricing:
- 4 GB + 64 GB for RM 999
- 6 GB + 128 GB for RM 1199
Mi A2 will be made available as an early bird offer on 3rd August at KLCC Authorised Mi Store. It will be available at other Authorised Mi Stores
as well as Lazada on 4th August.
Mi A2 Lite will be available:
- 3 GB + 32 GB for RM 699
The device will be available starting 18th August at all Authorised Mi Stores and Lazada.
